From 1952 on he had been the keeper of the tent at Schießhausplatz. In 1978/79 he converted from the Patrizier brewery, which had taken over the Henninger Reifbräu, to Kitzmann. In the Sixties his tent used to be an attraction for the young visitors because of the famous performances of strictly female bands....The absolute crowning points were his own performances, for instance when he was standing on stage drinking one litre of beer down the hatch.
